The power of wings. Angelic protection walking in this realm...
Experimental photography. Double exposure.

This is a composite between many photos and layers. The first photo, the man and the globe, was taken around 2013 in Zagreb, Croatia. The "glowing wings" was taken 2022 on a hiking tour although it wasn't wings initially.
The wings consists of several photos - one of nature where I was hiking and the sun set, creating a glowing aura. I then made several overlays with other photos and the wings appeared magically.

I then looked for some old photos to insert the wings and tried it on the Zagreb-photo. I worked well. It was then tested in many versions and I liked the sepia antique look.
The Zagreb photo was the first old photo i tried this on which is peculiar, I didn't go through any lenghty processes. Actually most of my art is immediate and intense, no struggle involved. That's how I prefer it. An immediate expression of observation.

Sometimes I feel like photos are waiting throughout the years, just to be combined in unexpected ways. Like it was meant to be. Effortless.
Makes me wonder if time is not linear but in fact circular...
But that's another discussion...
